Negotiations between AFSCME 2474 and Hennepin Healthcare management began on November 19, 2021. After only a few sessions, we agreed to go to mediation (March 2nd) because the employer is stuck on bad positions. In particular, Hennepin Healthcare management is only offering a 1.6% cost of living raise for its Healthcare Heroes and proposes to eliminate our members dental insurance. Management also refuses to recognize MLK and Juneteenth as holidays.
